I have run a G-1 ...
I have run a G-1 for 4 years now. Great highbanker. If you have sandbars forming you are overloading your riffles. You stand a greater chance of losing gold with sandbars? in your lower box. Either up the flow or increase the angle of drop of your lower box.

Check out the Hydro ...
Check out the Hydro Classifier? for Gold. It's the newest way to classify your material and? you don't have to run it through a sluice box to? get the gold. It's the easiest? one yet.

No I was useing a ...
No I was useing a 2000 gl.rule pump at home. And you need to adj. the tilt to where the sandbars do not form. and alot more water. I ues a 1 1/2'' gas pump.and it? works great. and you can run all you can shouvel, and the G1 will self clean, and leave the gold. I have worked 20 5 gals, and still only have 1 small pan at clean up. the rubber mat in the sluice works very good, day or night you can see the gold. thanks

I just purchased ...
I just purchased one of these and am wondering if you usually run with the sandbars forming in the lower tray? Does this help the fine? gold recovery?

I ran 5 gals. of ...
I ran 5 gals. of paydirt in the G1. more of the gold was in the 5 top riffles with a little in the sluice. no gold was? found in the last set of riffles .I used a 2000 gal 12 volt pump. but on a river I will use a 1 1/2' gas pump. The G1 is all you need. in the pan is 10+ grams that came out of the G1. the audio on my cam. is not working.
